Oh, Canada!

This post is in honor of:

  1. б═My husband, Dave, a Canadian, who grew up in Toronto but born 800 miles north in Timmins, a place I refuse to go to as they have outdoor ice surfaces all year–too cold for my thin skin! Thank you, honey, for not taking me farther north than groovy Toronto!
  2. b5media, which is head-quartered in groovy Toronto and I am assuming (although I don’t know everyone) employing many great Canadiens who make this so much fun for all us bloggers! б═
  3. All you readers from the Great White North (and sports fans throughout the world) that are plannng a trip to Paris who are afraid to leave behind б═ESPN,б═TSN,б═б═FOXSportб═or any other three or four letter place that will give you up to the minute hockey scores 24/7–you can do it, I know you can! б═б═
  4. All you women, everywhere, who date or are married to someone who can’t be б═separatedб═from sports–this place is for you!

The Great Canadian Pub is a block away from Place Saint-Michel, situated along the Seine and is a perfect place to park those crumudgeons who have had enough of museums and shopping and just want to relax with an order of wings and a beer. б═With numerous big screen TVs and satellite to everywhere, б═your sports enthusiast will be a happy camper in no time. б═ It might even free those of you looking for some freedom to do exactly what you want for a couple of hours. Everyone can be happy and seriously, isn’t that the point? б═But I have to add– me, Miss Fancy French Food Fan–they have nachos and hamburgers to die for! б═ Before you head out, you may want to grab a bite!б═б═
